Abstract

From Preface: This Memorandum explains in brief, the figures of estimates in the Civil Budget Estimates for 1986-87. The major headwise figures for receipts and major head-cum-department-wise figures for expenditure have been brought separately in this publication and explanation for important variations between the Budget Estimates 1985-86 and the Revised Estimates 1985-86 and between the Revised Estimates 1985-86 and the Budget Estimates 1986-87 under concerned minor heads have been furnished in the paragraphs thereunder. New items of expenditure (including new works) both Non-Plan and Plan provided for in the Budget. Estimates for 1986-87 are shown departmentwise in a separate publication viz. Additional Civil Budget Estimates for 1986-87. The document is in English and Marathi.
