| Abstract: | The reference period for this study was from 1961-62 to 1978-79 (i.e. from the 3rd five year Plans upto the end of the fifth Five Year Plan). Even though the draft of the report was submitted in early part of 1981, the report could not be published till 1986 due to practical difficulties. However, the findings and suggestion made in the reports may still hold good which are expected to be useful to the concerned implementing agency for taking follow-up action. |
