University Development in India Basic Facts and Figures 1972-73 to 1976-77

Abstract

From Introduction: Based on the returns received from the universities, ‘university results’ have been presented in Part-II of ‘University Development in India’. In this issue, results for 1972-73 and 1973-74 have been included. From 1973-74 onwards, the results are presented state-wise/university-wise. For M.A./M.Sc. examinations, subject-wise break-up has been shown separately. A few appendices have been added at the end showing the ‘out-turn data’ in the different fields, in the form of a time series for ten years (in certain cases only for five years).
