Report on the Survey of the Higher Secondary Students of Lucknow District. VOlume - 1

Abstract

The report differs from other reports of similar nature in that it does not deal with educational theories, curricula and administrative policies. It is a modest attempt at presenting to the readers the actual living conditions of the Higher Secondary School boys of Lucknow based on the data supplied by them and by their teachers. The facts regarding the life of the pupil teachers or the different teachers’ training institutions (men) have also been discussed because the life of the students cannot be considered apart from that of the teachers.
