Directory of Voluntary Agencies in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry: A Compilation

Abstract

From Preface: There is no dearth of voluntary effort in the field of non-formal and Adult Education in Tamil Nadu and the union Territory of Pondicherry. About 400 such agencies in Tamilnadu alone responded to the appeal of the Government to implement the National Adult Education Programme in 1977. Will it not be of interest and use to all such agencies involved and interested in the work of non-formal and adult education to come to know about the location, aims and objectives, scope and nature of work, area of action, plans and achievements of similar agencies working shoulder to shoulder in their area and region? Therefore, SRC is bringing out this humble and simple Directory.
