Abstract

From Introduction: This issue—Part II Section-C—of the University Development in India, Basic Facts & Figures (1972-73 to 1976-77) contains detailed statistics relating to Doctorate Degrees awarded during 1975-76 and examination results relating to 1976 Annual and 1975 Supplementary examinations. Statistics relating to ‘Doctorate Degrees awarded have been presented faculty-wise, subject-wise, university-wise and state-wise in various tabular statements and the data relating to examination results have been incorporated Course-wise, Division-wise, University-wise and State-wise in different statements. Subject-wise break up of M.A. & M.Sc. examination results have been indicated separately. Out-turn data relating to Women Candidates also have been presented in different statements, in this issue.
