| Abstract: | From Foreword: The Department of Teacher Education conducted the last national survey of teacher education institutions in 1965. The main objective of the survey was to collect basic information about the programme, facilities and resources of teacher education institutions at the secondary level. The present report deals with the Third National Survey of Teacher Education which was started in 1971. It includes data from 259 Colleges of Education and University Departments of Education. |
