Abstract

From Overview: The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, formerly known as the National Staff College for Educational Planners and Administrators, was established by the Government of India as an autonomous institution in 1970 by taking over the Asian Institute of Educational Planning and Administration which had been set up in 1962 under a 10 year agreement with the UNESCO. Main functions of the Institute include training of educational planners and administrators; research; consultancy and advisory services; and diffusion of innovations.
