Draft Annual Plan 1984-85 (Punjab)

Abstract

From Chapt. 1: The year 1984-85 is the last year of the Sixth Five-Year Plan 1980-85. While the overall strategy and objectives of the Annul Plan 1984-85 are derived from the Sixth Five-Year Plan, the details of the Annual Plan 1984-85, being the terminal year of the plan, have been worked out to ensure early completion of the on going projects/ Schemes. To ensure early completion of going projects within the constraint of resources, works at an advanced stage were identified and allocations were made during the current year 1983-84 to enable the completion of the project or a useable portion thereof.
