Abstract of Statistics 1988-89 (Pondicherry)

Abstract

From Foreword: The current issue of the Abstract of Statistics by the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Pondicherry Administration, gives very useful time-series data on multifarious socio-economic subjects covering all Important production and services sectors of the economy. All Statistical Tables contain figures upto the year 1988-89 and a minimum of five years time-series data and ten years data in respect of some sectors are made available. Wherever possible, region wise break-up of data have been presented. The latest 1991 population census data highlighting the demographic growth trends are also made available in the Appendix for data users.
