dc.description.abstractFrom Introduction: Education in Nagaland is centrally administered by the State Ministry of Education, which is responsible for all levels of education. Primary, Middle, Secondary, Technical, Adult & Non-Formal, Physical Education & Sports and Higher Education. Upot 30th Sept.'86 there were two Directorates namely Directorate of School & Physical Education and the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education. While the former looked after the affairs of School, Physical Education & Sports and Youth Welfare activities in the State the latter is concerned with the affairs of Higher (i.e. post matric) and technical education.en_US
