Pre-Budget 1987-88 Economic Review of Manipur

Abstract

From Foreword: The “Pre-Budget, 1987-88 Economic Review of Manipur” is the first attempt of the directorate of Economics & Statistics, Manipur to present a detailed analysis of the latest economic situation of the State with special reference to the various plan programmes being taken up through the successive Five Year Plan for the betterment of the socio-economic conditions of the masses. This publication is slightly different from the earlier publication entitled, "Economic Review of Manipur", the sixth issue of which was published in April, 1987, in that a lot of background materials including an appendix for statistical tables are not included in the new publication. However, it is hoped that henceforth the two publications will be merged into one as Pre-budget Economic Review.
