Abstract

From Preface: "Karnataka At A Glance" is an annual publication of the Directorate of Economic and Statistics. The present issue relates to the year 1989-90 and provides all essential and useful data relating to important socio-economic activities of the state. When compared to the previous issues, the present "Glance" have been collected from various official publications and also from other departments, both State and Central, whose continued co-operation in this respect is acknowledged with thanks. Suggestions for improvement of this "Glance" are most welcome.
