dc.description.abstractFrom Foreword: The present publication is the analysis and interpretation of Educational data of the State of Bihar, collected in course of the Second All-India Educational Survey. It deals with various aspects of school education—primary, middle and secondary. The First Educational Survey which was conducted in the year 1957-58, was concerned mainly with the provision of educational facilities. It, however, made valuable recommendations for the future planning of the location of schools. The Second Educational Survey is broad-based and its report covers many other features of school education.en_US
