Abstract

From Preface: ‘Statistics for Planning 1983’ presented herein is a revised and up-dated edition of the publication on the same title published in 1980. Attempts have been made to present data relating to all sectors of the State Economy, The data compiled in 18 chapters covering major sectors of the Economy are presented in tabular form to suit the need of the users. This publication has been prepared in the Publication and Co-ordination division of the Directorate. It is hoped that this document will be of immense use to planners on the eve of the formulation of the Seventh Plan of the State.
