dc.description.abstract	The study is based on a representative sample of 286 schools (221 primary and 65 upper primary) of 11 districts out of total of 12 districts in the State viz. Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu , Kinnaur, Mandi, Solan, Shimla, Sirmour, & Una. The total number of 218 schools have been selected from rural area and 68 from urban area. For the selection of schools, circular systematic sampling stratified strategy had been used.	en_US
