dc.description.abstractThe study is based on a representative sample of 286 schools (221 primary and 65 upper primary) of 11 districts out of total of 12 districts in the State viz. Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu , Kinnaur, Mandi, Solan, Shimla, Sirmour, & Una. The total number of 218 schools have been selected from rural area and 68 from urban area. For the selection of schools, circular systematic sampling stratified strategy had been used.en_US
