| Abstract: | From Preface: Statistics for planning is the most 'important and comprehensive publication of the Department of Economics and Statistics, Government of Kerala. However, this publication is issued only at periodical intervals of about 4 years and as such planners and other data users find it difficult to get latest data on important sectors of Kerala Economy. It is in this context that the Department has initiated an annual publication entitled 'Kerala at a Glance’. The present one is the fourth in the series and attempts have been made in this issue to present latest data on important socio-economic development of Kerala. |
