| Abstract: | From Committee Members: Foreign Direct Investment is one of the key variables for achieving an eight per cent growth during the Tenth Plan (2002-07). As mentioned in the Approach Paper a sharp step up in FDI is necessary for achieving the growth targets of the Tenth Plan. The Planning Commission constituted a Steering Committee on Foreign Direct Investment in August 2001, to achieve these objectives. |
