Abstract

Education Is the most important single factor In achieving rapid economic development and in creating a social order founded on valued of freedom, social justice and equal opportunities. Programmes of education lie at the base of effort to forge bonds of common citizenship, to harness energies of the people and to develop a natural and human resources. Developments of the past 2-3 decades have created a momentum for economic growth, yet there are still deficiencies in the sphere of education which need to be removed speedily if progress is to be sustained enduring.
