dc.description.abstractFrom Introduction: The agreed outlay for the States’ Seventh Five Year Plan (1985-90) is Rs. 2100 crores. Taking into account the anticipated expenditure of Rs. 520 crores in 1988-89 the total likely expenditure during the first four years of the Plan would be Rs, 1778.27 crores. An outlay of Rs. 620.30 crores has been proposed for the Annual Plan 1989-90. While finalising the size of the plan for the different sectors, the following important aspects have been kept in view.en_US
