Bihar Statistical HandBook 1980

Abstract

From Preface: The twenty-fourth issue of the Bihar Statistical Hand-book relating to the year 1980 is released herewith. This is an annual publication of the Directorate. But since 1976, it has become a biennial publication due to non-availability of relevant data in time. Attempt, however, has been made to reduce as far as practicable the time-lag in different items of data covered. The publication gives in detail the essential data relating to the various sectors of the State’s economy and other allied matters. It is hoped that this publication would be useful to the research workers, planners and policy-framers.
