From Foreword: The present edition of Statistical Abstract of Una is the seventh in series. It contains important statistics of the district economy relating to area, population, agriculture, livestock, forests, medical and health education, co-operation, Industries,labour and employment, transport etc. A review of achievements in Una District during 1982-83 and important Statistics of Una district at a glance given in the Part-I of this publication will certainly add to the utility of this publication. The figures given in the publication will serve as useful baseline data for assessing the progress of this district in various socio-economic fields and will prove valuable to the administrators, planners and the public in general.
