Abstract

From Foreword: I am happy to release the 'Handbook of Educational and allied Statistics 1995 in Himachal Pradesh. The volume contains valuable data in the field of education and allied information and has been divided into five Chapters covering diverse areas, inter— alias demographic Data, (b) Literacy Position (c) Educational Institutions/Enrolment and Teachers; and (d) Miscellaneous including Plan Position. This is the third issue of this publication. It was initially started during 1993. We hope to bring out the publication regularly so that those who are engaged in the field of education are benefited from the data presented in this publication. This Handbook shall also benefit educational Planners and educational administrators, social scientists, researchers etc.
