From Preface: In the present era Planning is playing a vital role for speedy and balanced industrial growth at all levels particularly at the district level. It is only at the District level that a realistic study can be undertaken of the available manpower, resources, infrastructural facilities so that the time bound programmes are planned and implemented to achieve the desired results in the shortest possible time.
