Abstract

From Preface: The present publication “Directory of Educational Institutions in Haryana” is the fourth in series. It gives a detailed information about the Educational Facilities available at different levels in the State. An attempt has been made to include the names of all types of Educational, Professional, Vocational and other Specialised institutions from Middle Standard to University level functioning in Haryana during the academic year 1976-77 (as on 31st August, 1976). The addition of a few statistical tables in this Directory has further enhanced its utility. This publication is meant to serve as a comprehensive reference book for all Educational Administrators and Planners engaged in the job of rational planning and formulation of sound development programmes in the field of Education. It will also prove useful to Research Scholars and others interested in the field of Educational Development in Haryana.
