| Abstract: | From General Education: The importance of education in the State and the national economy needs no mention-Provision of education facilities as an essential social infrastructure is necessary to supplement the economic infrastructure created through various development plans. Education holds the key to all round development of the society and the State. The State Government has always accorded a very high Primary Education which forms the base of the educational pyramid. An exercise on mid Term Appraisal has indicated that the Seventh Plan outlay of Rs. 86.76 crores for this sector will be adequate to fulfill the target set. |
