dc.description.abstractFrom Foreword: An interesting and useful work of the Fifth AlI India Educational Survey was completed in due course with the co-operation of my colleagues and A.E.I.s from district education offices of the state and Panchayats. After completion and submission of the State survey report to the NCERT certain suggestions were received from the ministry of H.R.D. and NCERT in order to maintain uniformity of the state survey reports. The same have been carried out and the corrected data are presented here, which I hope, will be useful to the research workers, administrators in the state and at the national level.en_US
