Abstract

From Preface: This brochure, the biennial publication of the department, is a revised version of “Technical Education-1984.” Care has been taken to include all the useful information on the infrastructural facilities available in Gujarat for the benefit of the student community, parents of prospective students and for those who are interested in technical education in the State. In this brochure, as usual, all the relevant details such as the names and addresses of institutions, courses run alongwith intake capacity, entrance qualifications, durations etc., for courses ranging from certificate to post graduation are provided in easy to refer formats. Also, given are the details on the facilities and concessions available for the SC/ST/ other B C. students in engineering and technical institutions.
