Abstract

From Preface: The Present Publication “Compendium of Madhya Pradesh Statistics, 1987” is The Twenty fifth issue in the series and the second in form of bilingual (Hindi/English) edition. It contains important statistical data on different aspects of he State economy in concise form. The contents of the publication have been divided into two parts. In part first some important indices of the State economy alongwith the all India indices and certain derived statistics such as growth rates, ratios etc. pertaining to selected sectors have been given. Part second presents the state level data on various aspects of the economy District-wise data on electricity and two new tables, one on cold storage and other on villages connected with surfaced roads, have been added in this issue.
