Draft Proposals of Seventh Five Year Plan Tribal Sub-Plan and Special Component Plan (1985-90) and Tribal Sub-Plan And Special Component Plan 1985-86 in Respect of Technical Education

Abstract

From Introduction: In the Sixth Five Year Plan of Technical Education there was a provision of Rs. 6.15 crores now raised to Rs.13.02 crores. The Tribal Plan component out of this worked out to Rs. 75 lakhs. As against this, a sun of Rs. 99.34 lakhs has already been spent upto 1984. There is a provision of Rs.1.15 crores (besides a sum of Rs. 52 lakhs earmarked from the Additive Assistance) for the sub-plan of the current year. By the end of the Sixth Plan, a total sum of Rs. 226.34 lakhs would have been available for the Tribal Sub-Plan of Technical Education.
