Abstract

From Preface: It is the sixteenth issue of Delhi Statistical Hand Book being published by Bureau of Economics & Statistics, Delhi Administration. The response to this publication from the Administrators, Research Workers and other users has been very encouraging. Effort are therefore made continuously to improve and fill-up the gaps in Statistical information so as to make it more useful for the users. Four new tables indicating Population of Delhi by Occupational classification 1981, Annual Estimates of population of Delhi upto 2001, Sales of units in U.T. of Delhi and Collections under Small Savings Schemes in Delhi have been added in this issue.
