Abstract: This committee was to review the existing range of programmes and courses with particular reference to the concern for quality assurance, viability of enrolment and the modes of delivery in the context of the mandate as contained in the IGNOU Act and recommend appropriate modifications necessary in their systems of delivery including the advisability of the continuance of those which are not considered viable or do not conform to the University’s mandate; -Examine the existing organizational arrangements which are in place including newly created Centres/Chairs and to recommend steps to streamline their role; supervision and control in conformity with the provisions of the Act; -Review the practices currently followed to associate/recognize several institutions with the programmes of the University and recommend appropriate principles/guidelines for such association, and -To consider any related issue(s) and make appropriate recommendations.
