Abstract: From Introduction: The 32nd Annual Conference of the Indian Adult Education Association began its three day session in Amritsar (PB) on October 7, 1979 Under the Presidentship of Dr. Malcolm S. Adiseshiah, M.P., President of the Association. The theme was “Adult Education and Development in Relation to National Adult Education Programme.” Four hundred and eighteen delegates from twenty-three States and Union Territories attended this conference. Most of the affiliated organizations of IAEA, State Governments and the Universities of Aligarh, Andhra, Bihar, Calicut, Delhi, Kiashmir, Kerala, Kurushetra, M.S. University of Baroda, Punjabi, Punjab, Rajasthan, S.N.P.T, Women’s University, Vishwa Bharti, deputed representatives.
