| Abstract: | From Introduction: The Union Territory of Mizoram has a Consolidated Fund separate from the Consolidated Fund of India. The cash balance of the Union Territory is, however, merged in the general cash balance of the Central Government. It has also a Contingency Fund from which advances are made to meet unforeseen expenditure pending approval of such expenditure by the Legislature. |
