Abstract

From Preface: This is the first edition of the booklet “Higher Educational Institutions in Delhi”. A large number of educational institutions are functioning in Delhi which provide opportunities for a large number of students in diverse disciplines of education. However, consolidated information in this respect is not available at one place. Moreover, correct statistical data showing various types of educational institutions like universities, deemed universities, national institutions, colleges, etc. was also not available due to not availability of complete lists of these institutions resulting in conflicting figures presented by different sources including this Directorate.
