dc.description.abstractMatters relating to minorities education have been discussed at different fora including the National Integration Council, Conferences of Minority, leaders and intellectuals, and Conference of State Ministers dealing with minorities. The Reports of Expert Panels, Committees and Commissions including the Minorities Commissions at the Central and the State levels, have listed exhaustively the steps to be taken for minorities education. Suggestions have also been made in individual writings and books by experts and knowledgeable persons for uplift of the educationally backward minorities to enable them to participate fully in the national development process.Eng
