From Preface: This is the Eighth edition of the "Socio Economic Development of Dadra and Nagar Haveli since its liberation'* containing physical achievement during 1992-93 as compared to the achievement at the time of liberation, under various sectors of Development, This booklet has served as a source of handy information of highlights of progress made by the U.T. Administration after liberation and we have observed that the demand of this publication has been increasing every year and thus its usefulness among the data users, planners and other research personnels has been proved for itself, which has encouraged this Department in releasing the publication.
