Elementary Education in The State of Bihar: Statistical Report

Abstract

From Foreword: The Development process of a nation needs appropriate and adequate information flow from the lowest level of administration to the highest decision making level. Computer network based information system are assuming an ever increasing importance. Govt. of India has set up the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to promote informatics culture in Govt. Departments and develop computer based Management Information System for decision support at various levels. NIC has set up a Nationwide satellite based computer communication network called 'NICNET' with gateway to international networks, and centre for WEB services.
