Abstract

From Preface: The brochure “A Picture of Karnataka Budget” is compiled every year to present the details in the State Budget in an easily understandable form by means of statistical tables. In Part I of the brochure are indicated the salient features of the state Budget for 1991-92 along with the revised estimates for 1990-91 and actuals for previous year. Part II of the brochure aims at presenting the sectoral distribution of the plan expenditure incurred in respect of Annual plan for the past few years and the anticipated plan expenditure for 1990-91 and 1991-92- The development outlays for purpose of this brochure cover the State Plan, Centrally Sponsored Schemes and Central Plan Scheme as also the expenditure on Irrigation Projects in the Cauvery basin area Part II also Contains a Table indicating the Population of India,
