Abstract

This issue of ' Handbook of Basic Statistics of Maharashtra State' for the year 2009 is the 49th issue in the series. The main objective of this publication is to present up-to-date statistical data on various socio-economic aspects of State Economy in a concise form. In an attempt to use latest available data for this publication some of the data / estimates used and included is provisional.
