Education in India Volume - II (S) 1992-93

Abstract

From Preface: "EDUCATION IN INDIA VOL.II(S)" is brought out annually by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The publication contains All India and State-wise Financial Statistics relating to all recognised educational institutions in the field of school education. The publication is brought out in three Volumes-Vol. I(S) containing numerical data on school education; Vol. II(S) the financial data on school education, Volume III examination results of matriculation class and higher levels. The Volumes corresponding to 1(C) and 11(C) in respect of College Education are yet to be brought out. The present publication Vol.11(8) relates to the year 1992-93. The entire publication is divided Into two parts. Part-1 contains an-abstract and a general survey of financial data on School Education at the Centre and in the States during the year 1992-93. Part 11 comprises state-wise Statistical Tables based on information collected from the State and Union Territories through forms ES-ll(S).
