Abstract

This Second Report presents aspects as the representation given to Scheduled Castes in Services in Government Departments, Public Undertakings, Corporations, Statutory Bodies and in admissions to Medical Colleges, the instances of atrocities and untouchability and the problems of Scheduled Castes residing in the Scheduled areas. This report relates also to the work done by the previous Committee constituted in March, 1976 to the extent it was not covered in its first report.
