Education in India 1986-87 Volume II(C)

Abstract

From Preface: "Education in India " is an annual publication brought out by the Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. This publication is brought out in three Volumes- Volume I and Volume II containing the numerical data and financial data respectively and Volume III relating to examination results. This issue pertains to the year 1986-87 and contains detailed financial statistics relating to recognised educational institutions in the field of University and Higher Education in the country. From the year, 1984-85, the numerical and financial data have been bifurcated into two volumes, i.e. Volume I(S) and Volume 1(C) covering the numerical data of school Education and University & Higher Education separately. Similarly, the Volume II is also in two parts, - covering financial data for School Education - Volume II (S) ; and for University and Higher Education Volume 11(C).
