dc.description.abstractThe Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), a comprehensive and integral programme of Government of India in partnership with the State Government was launched on 01st January 2001 to provide useful and relevant education to all children in the age group of 6 to 14 by the year 2010. The programme was launched in Uttarakhand State in 2002-03. The funding norm of the programme of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan was on a sharing basis between the Central and State Government in the ratio of 85:15 in IX Plan and 75:25 in the X Plan and 65 : 35 during XI Plan respectively.en_US
