| Abstract: | Education of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is an annual publication brought out by the Department of Secondary & Higher Education of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. This publication relates to the number of students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes getting school education for the year 1998-99. It contains state-wise information of Population, Literacy, Enrolment and number of Teachers in respect of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in India. It also includes the Statistical data on important education indicators on different parameters at school level of education. All India - Time series data on important parameters such as population, literacy, enrolment have also been given for these communities. |
