Abstract

This is the Fifth edition in the series; “Education in India Vol. Ill 1980-81” after the'introduction of revised system of collection of educational statistics in 1976-77. The publication contains examination results of Secondary and Higher education level conducted by the various examination Boards/Universities in India. It gives out-turn of Private/regular students in the combined form. The publication comprises of two parts. Part-1 contains the examination results of various courses at all India level in the selected tables. Beside an analysis of the out-turn at the various stages of education has also been given in the Abstract. Part-II gives the state-wise and sex-wise: examination results.
