| Abstract: | The Government of India had reconstituted the Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE) vide Resolution dated 6 July 2004. In pursuance of the decisions taken in the meetings of the CABE on 10-11 August 2004, the Government of India had constituted in September 2004 seven committees of the CABE to examine in detail critical issues facing education. The Committee on the subject of'Financing of Higher and Technical Education' of the CABE is one such committee constituted to examine in detail critical issues relating to financing higher and technical education. |
