Abstract

We were appointed by Order 0) No. PDD/EDN/1541/65 dated 15th March, 1966, of the Government of Goa, Daman and Diu, (i) «to consider and recommend to the Government the steps required to be taken for the establishment of a University in Goa through the progressive development of the post-graduate) centre established by the University of Bombay, (ii) to recommend the type cf University, its location, powers, composition, etc.; and (iii) to recommend further overall development of higher education in the Territory».
