University Development in India: Basic Facts and Figures Part 2 Examination Results 1978 (1978 Annual and Supplementary)

Abstract

This publication is third in the Series entitled “ University Development in India—Basic Facts and Figures Part II—Examination Results” . It contains the factual out-turn of graduates and postgraduates from the Indian Universities and Institutions deemed to be Universities. The out-turn of graduates and postgraduates coming out of the Institutions of national importance have not been included as no such information was being collected from these Institutions. However, efforts are being made to collect the out-turn data from these Institutions for the decade 1971-1981 and will be published in the forthcoming issue of the series.
