Handbook of Teaching Facilities in Higher Education 1984-85

Abstract

The "Handbook cf Teaching Facilities" contains the facilities available in the Teaching Departments cf Universities in the country during 1984-85. It has been prepared on the basis cf the Directory cf Teaching Departments cf Indian Universities 1982-83 and the information collected from the universities regarding new courses introduced during 1983-84 and 1984-85. The 'Hand Book' provides the names cf the disciplines/subjects arranged alphabetically according to Faculty and the Universities. To begin with, the 'Hand Book' mainly depicts the teaching facilities available in the Faculties cf (1) Arts, (2) Science, (3) Languages (Indian & Foreign), (4) Religious Studies/Culture etc., (5) "Others" and (6) Miscellaneous. The Miscellaneous section covers subjects not covered in the preceding faculties.
